Associate in Applied Science in Automotive Service Management Technology
Associate Degree
Our associate program is , formerly known as National Automotive Technicians Education Foundation (NATEF).
This associate in applied science (A.A.S.) degree prepares you for exciting careers in automotive service and repair, whether you want to work for a dealership or an independent shop, or open your own business.
What You Will Learn
Explore everything under the hood and beyond at The River. Through a mix of core and elective courses, you’ll cover topics such as:
- Engine overhaul, repair and testing
- Suspension, steering and alignment
- Automotive brake systems
- Automotive electrical systems
- Air conditioning and heating
- Transmissions
- Hybrid and alternative fuel
You’ll also have a chance to gain on-the-job experience at an approved partner site.
