(July 17, 2025) – The Hallstrom Planetarium at ³Ô¹ÏÍø is inviting the community to blast off into aÌýnew season of stargazing with a free open house on Saturday, Aug. 30, from 6 to 9 p.m. This all-ages event offers a sneak peek at the 2025–26 Starlight Series, a lineup of sky shows and family-friendly programs designed to delight seasoned space buffs and curious newcomers alike.Ìý
Visitors can tour the facility, chat with the planetarium team, and catch a glimpse of the night sky through telescopes provided by the Treasure Coast Astronomical Society. Whether you’re a lifelong astronomer or just looking to spot Saturn for the first time, this open house promises an evening that’s truly out of this world.

“The moon, the planets, stars and constellations, nebulas and galaxies – we’re excited to share all of the wonders of the universe with both seasoned skywatchers and newcomers to stargazing,” said Jon U. Bell, Hallstrom Planetarium Director. “Our open house is the perfect opportunity to learn about the stars and get a taste of what we have in store for the upcoming season.”
As the Treasure Coast’s only planetarium, and one of fewer than two dozen permanent planetariums in Florida, the Hallstrom Planetarium delivers a full-sky, full-sensory experience that brings the cosmos closer to home. With ticket prices under $15, it’s one of the most affordable ways to travel the universe on the Treasure Coast.
The 2025–26 Starlight Series includes sky tours, laser light shows, astronomy-themed family events, and special programs for kids ages 4 to 12.
